Privacy policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Qabas Studios, an interior redesign and home staging studio in Austin, Texas. Questions about this policy: call 512-761-7112 or email qabas.studios@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address (if given), city or neighborhood, whether you’d like to work virtually or in person, the service you’re interested in, your timeline, the rooms you choose and any details you decide to share. We also record which form and page you used. If you send us a plan from the Room Planner, its answers are included in your message.

If you call, we receive your phone number and the time of the call. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To respond to your request and book a walkthrough or consultation.
• To prepare your room plan and quote.
• To keep a record of requests and improve this website.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to receive and store form submissions: Basin (usebasin.com), which processes the forms and emails them to us, and Google (Gmail and Google Sheets), where we keep them. If you choose a virtual walkthrough, the video call runs on a common video-calling service. They handle the data only on our behalf. With your permission we may also coordinate with your real estate agent or photographer about your project. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.

Affiliate links

Our Picks page contains Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one of those links you leave this site, and Amazon may set cookies to record that you arrived through our link. Amazon's privacy notice covers that. We don't receive your name, address or what you bought, only anonymous totals of clicks and qualifying orders.

Cookies and browser storage

This site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. It does not itself use advertising or analytics cookies; Amazon's cookies are set only on Amazon's site after you click an affiliate link. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to handle your request and keep reasonable business records, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling 512-761-7112 or emailing qabas.studios@gmail.com.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes and isn’t directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
